An Introduction to Christology – the Study of the Person of Jesus Christ
Summer Schools with the Dominicans

This introductory course will delve into the riches of the Church’s understanding of the person of Jesus Christ. Is Jesus Christ a charismatic religious leader like others in history or is there a uniqueness to His person and relevance for all of humanity? Beginning with the scriptural witness of the Apostles, without whom we would not know Jesus Christ, the course will look at the some of the controversies that developed over the centuries regarding Jesus Christ and the unique claims he made about Himself.
Fr Philip Mulryne OP is a Dominican Friar of the Province of Ireland. After gaining a Bachelors in Sacred Theology at the Dominican Studium in St Saviour’s Dublin he was ordained a priest in 2017. Since 2019 Fr Philip has been Master of Novices in St Mary’s, Cork.
Courses run Mon-Fri 9:30am – 4pm, (Mass each day at 11am). Social gatherings most evenings.
